I don’t know why I haven’t done this already before, but I just logged into my Technorati Profile and realised that this blog was not represented in there. What an oversight!

Well, it’s time to set that straight right now!

So this post is really all about letting more of the online world know about this informative and (I hope) interesting blog. That way more people can benefit from all the hard work and great information I’m putting into it!

If you haven’t been here before, there are several pages to this site that will be of interest to you as well as the main blog.

  • There are several full-length articles in the Articles page
  • You’ll find a great list of ebooks and Resources on various topics of natural health and alternative cures
  • There is also a great page with ebooks on Alternative lifestyle and different natural healing methods and techniques

So there is something for everyone interested in learning more about living not quite outside, but more like alongside the mainstream of medicine and health. Those that want to break away from the so-called normal constraints and attitudes that most people follow more or less blindly and without question.

If you are curious as to what else there is in this life other than the mundane, mass produced and spoon fed “way“, then this is the place for you!

The very mention of yeast infections can cause a nasty feeling inside. This is not something that women like to openly talk about, but often just suffer in silence. That’s until it gets to the point where they have no choice but to go to see their doctor.

A vaginal yeast infection is best described as an abnormal growth of yeast cells in the vagina. Such infections most commonly occur in women during their child bearing years, although they can happen at any age. They rarely lead to any serious health problems, which is good news. But the bad news is they can be quite uncomfortable. Worse is that the standard medical treatments don’t always work and can also have some nasty side effects.

What are the symptoms of a yeast infection?

The most common symptoms are:

  • vaginal itching, which can at times be very severe
  • vaginal discharge, which is usually white
  • red skin around the opening to the vagina
  • pain while urinating or touching the skin
  • pain in the vagina during sexual intercourse

These symptoms are most likely to occur about a week before the menstrual cycle begins.

Although most vaginal yeast infections can simply clear up on their own, in some cases this doesn’t happen and treatment is needed.

Modern medicine and natural healers tend to argue on this point. There are times when modern medicine recommends that it’s best to do nothing, such as when you’re pregnant because these treatments can be harmful to the baby. If that’s the case, then what are these medicines doing to your own body? It does make you think.

So what about the more serious cases?

Symptoms such as a high fever and lower abdominal pain associated with this fever can occur in the rare cases where your yeast infection is serious, although these symptoms don’t usually occur until you’ve had the infection for some time.

Obviously, the best time to treat it is in the early stages.

In cases where the yeast infection is considered serious, treatments include over the counter and prescription medications, which all have side effects and don’t always work.

So if this concerns you, what should you do? Do you just suffer with this condition?

The answer to that is no.

There are natural treatments available for vaginal yeast infections that have no harmful side effects. You don’t have to resort to dangerous drugs.

More information can be obtained and an extremely informative ebook can be downloaded from this site - you can click HERE to visit.

You’ll see that the suffering does not have to continue. You do not have to rely on your doctor to hand you a prescription for medicines filled with harmful side effects.
